Todd Carty is set to star as the villainous Fleshcreep in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Palace Theatre, Newark

Todd is known to millions throughout the UK for a variety of leading television roles including playing Tucker Jenkins in Grange Hill, Mark Fowler in EastEnders and Gabriel Kent in The Bill as well as appearing on ITV’s Dancing on Ice.

He has appeared in numerous pantomimes at theatres throughout the country, most often in the role of the baddie, as well as appearing as Ali Baba in Aladdin for the BBC.

Todd says of his role as Fleshcreep: “Panto baddies are really fun baddies to play as the audience just love to be able to join in the fun and boo. It is wonderfully ironic that the better you do your job the more you get booed!”

“I am really looking forward to spending my first festive season in Newark at the Palace Theatre as I have heard that it is a wonderful venue.”
