Junior ensemble auditions - saturday 21 june

These auditions have now been completed. Many thanks to all auditionees and congratulations to those successful in being cast in the Junior Ensemble.

Come and join us at The Galleon Centre in Kilmarnock for the magical family pantomime Sleeping Beauty.

With some exciting favourites and fresh faces set to bring the fairytale story to life, Andrew Agnew (Balamory, Scot Squad) returns as Nurse Netty Knickerbocker, Killie’s best loved Dame, alongside Jamie McKillop as the cheeky comic, Hilarious Hector. Also returning are James McAnerney as King Cuthbert and Craig McDougall as the dashing Prince Gordon of Galston. Ali Cleland returns to Kilmarnock as the delightfully boo-able Carabosse, as Gill McGowan sprinkles some panto magic as Fairy Flutterby and Charis Murray stars in the title role as Princess Beauty.

When the wicked fairy’s evil curse causes the Princess to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into an enchanted sleep, can anyone rescue her from the magical slumber before it is too late?

When an arrogant prince is cursed to live as a beast, his only hope of salvation is to find love before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose. Can village girl Belle see beyond appearances and learn to love a beast?

The Trotts are so poor they don’t have a bean to their name and what’s more, there’s an evil and greedy giant terrifying the village. Will they really have to sell their beloved cow Buttercup just to survive?

Starring TV favourites and Dancing Duo AJ and Curtis Pritchard, Britains Got Talent’s Han and Fran and the hugely popular John Evans who returns to Llandudno by popular demand.  

Poor Cinderella works night and day but dreams of a very different life and with an invitation to the royal ball it looks as if her wish may be granted. Will her Wicked Stepsisters succeed in ruining Cinderella’s dreams of happiness, or will her Fairy Godmother and loyal friend Buttons be able to thwart their devilish plans? Pop on your glad-rags and join us at the ball to find out!
