Sleeping Beauty - Crewe 2026

  • Lyceum Theatre Crewe (map)

Come and join us for a spellbinding festive treat with the magical family pantomime Sleeping Beauty, starring beloved TV and panto legend SU POLLARD.

Su is joined by Cheshire’s favourite panto double act, MALCOLM LORD and STE JOHNSTON, back by popular demand to deliver even more laughs, mischief, and mayhem!

When the wicked fairy Carabosse casts her sinister curse, the Princess is doomed to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep enchanted sleep. Will anyone be brave enough to break the spell before it’s too late?

JUNIOR ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS

The Junior Ensemble Auditions took place on SUNDAY 12 JULY.

Thank you to all of those who auditioned.

Please note that all car parks are managed by the council, and not the Lyceum Theatre.

Are there places to eat nearby?

Yes! If you are looking for somewhere to eat near the Lyceum Theatre, there are several highly rated options available depending on whether you want a quick post-theatre curry or a more traditional pub meal. Drinks and snacks are also available at the Hexagon before the performance and in the interval.

Are we expected to shout out?

You are most welcome to yes! Pantomimes are interactive and shouting out is part of the pantomime experience. If you are looking for a performance which might be quieter or more informal then we do offer accessible performances.

Where can I get the best value or cheapest tickets?

On the opening weekend performances, which are Friday 11th - Sunday 13th December 2026 and the closing weekend of 2nd and 3rd January 2027. Pantomime tickets are typically more expensive the closer to Christmas you get, and better value the further they are from Christmas week.

Can we take photographs?

You are most welcome to take photographs before the show, in the interval and as you leave. We do not permit photographs during the show, but there is an opportunity to take photos and video during the show after the song sheet. You will be told when this is.

Are there family tickets or discounts available?

There are some discounted family tickets available at certain performances. These tend not to be on offer during the performances closest to Christmas.

Will we be allowed in if we are running late?

It can happen! Even the best made plans sometimes go awry and we understand that. Don't worry - latecomers are admitted into the auditorium at a suitable point in the production. This might not be right away but we'll get you in as quickly as we can.

Are drinks and snacks available at the venue?

Of course! And don’t forget ice creams in the interval.

Do you have an accessible toilet?

Yes, we have facilities on site.
