Puss in Boots - Easter Panto
TOUR POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Here at Imagine Theatre we have been in lengthy and detailed talks with both The Hexagon, Reading and The Victoria Theatre, Halifax regarding our upcoming Easter pantomime.
In consultation with the theatres, and following government advice, we have unfortunately decided to postpone the upcoming tour of Puss in Boots in light of current events.
We are deeply upset and genuinely sorry that we’ve had to reach this decision, however, given these unprecedented times, there is no other option available to us.
However, the Imagine Theatre Team are working together both remotely and in our offices to continue business as usual for our Christmas pantomimes. We look forward to working with all our theatre partners, actors and production staff to ensure we deliver a first-class panto season once more. A season that will celebrate the resilience in our industry and the importance of pantomime in uniting and entertaining our communities.
For queries on ticket purchases and resulting policies, please refer to specific theatre websites for further information. We ask for your patience during this time when box offices are dealing with a high demand of enquiries.
The village of Much Trumping is under threat from unscrupulous developers, led by the dastardly Baron. His boss, a shapeshifting Ogre, wants to flatten the village and embark on a fracking project to release trapped gas that lies beneath Much Trumping.
The village matriarch and her son are horrified by the Baron’s plans, but they have problems of their own – their farm is failing and they can’t afford to pay the rent. All they have left is the farm cat… Could this mangy moggy have the answers to everyone’s woes?
From the team that bring you the Hexagon and Victoria Theatre Christmas pantos comes a brand-new Easter show designed for families of all ages. Working with a cast of professional actors and local performers this production will feature all the usual panto trimmings, stunning scenery and costumes, spectacular song and dance routines and bags of slapstick fun. It’s the purr-fect Easter treat for all the family.
