Transportation
If you are hiring from Imagine you are responsible for either pick up from our stores or payment of transportation to deliver the item(s) to you and to return them to us. You are welcome to arrange transportation/ pick up yourselves or we can arrange that transportation on your behalf. Our stores which are located as follows
• Costumes - York
• Scenic Items and some special effects - Redditch
• Props and some special effects - Coventry
Small hires
We can arrange to courier smaller items to you through our courier partners. It would be your responsibilty to return the item back to us, or we can arrange for the courier to come to you. We would invoice you prior to items being dispatched.
Medium Hires
We work with our transportation partner, Midland Express, for items which require from a car up to a 3.5 ton lorry. For items requiring a luton or 7.5 ton lorry we use our partners Fly By Nite or a similar carrier. Again we would recharge to you prior to items being dispatched. We would always fully quote the cost to you before proceeding with arranging any transport.
Large Hires
For hires which require larger transportation than a 7.5 ton lorry, we nearly always work with our partners Fly By Nite as they are highly experienced in transporting our scenic items. Again, we would recharge to you prior to items being dispatched. We would always fully quote the cost to you before proceeding with arranging any transport.
Crew Charges
Please note for larger hires, we often need to charge a crew charge. This would be fully quoted to you before any decisions were made by you whether to hire from us or not.
